A Princess Beach Photo Session Provides the Best Backdrop
I love this location for many reasons but my favorite thing about Princess Beach photo sesions is that there are no buildings or condos. It is protected as part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and you must purchase an online pass to visit. It’s just a small amount of coastline between Fort Walton Beach and Destin but it’s gorgeous. No buildings means more beautiful backdrops. Since it’s nowhere near any condos, you have to drive to get there. This helps keep some of the tourist crowds away and out of our photos. The only downside is there are no bathrooms or feet-washing stations. I think that is a small price to pay for a perfect photo spot.
Dorothy, Courtney & Quentin
Courtney and Quentin promised their mother, Dorothy, a family photo shoot for her Mother’s Day Gift. We finally cashed it in this June with a Princess Beach photo session at sunrise. I love shooting at sunrise because it’s not nearly as hot as sunset during the summer months. It’s also less likely to be crowded. All the tourist are still sleeping off their sunburn from the day before.

Mother-Daughter Duo
Courtney and Dorothy are not only mother-daughter but they are also business partners! I love this about them. Over the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them both personally and professionally. I love how they work together and have so much fun.
