The Chapel at Seaside | Haven & Oliver
The Chapel at Seaside is the perfect location for Haven and Oliver’s wedding. Oliver grew up around the beaches and community of Seaside, Florida. His mom remembers him climbing the trees in Ruskin Park as a child and visiting the nearby shops.
Not only did they pick one of the prettiest places along the Gulf Coast, they also picked the perfect time of year. February is one of those months that gets looked over for weddings. However, it always seems to be the most magical time to get married. I’ve never seen a February wedding rained out or too cold. It’s never too hot and the sunsets are always gorgeous.
The Wedding
Haven got ready in a cute little cottage right across the street from the Chapel at Seaside. She had the help of her mom, sister and soon-to-be sister-in-law. Oliver and his buddies got dressed at his mom’s house down the street.
Myrtie Blue designed a beautiful floral arrangement for the entrance of the chapel and the front of the altar. They are definitely one of my favorite florists in the area.
After the ceremony, the couple did a second line to the reception area at Ruskin Park. They walked to the tune of “When the Saints Go Marching In” and and carried umbrellas and champagne.
The best part of the reception was definitely the live band. Rivertown Band put on an amazing show and had everyone on the dance floor all night.
