Destin Bay House
My absolute favorite thing from Chris and Alyssa’s wedding was their spin on the traditional Mother-Groom and Father-Bride dances. About halfway through each dance, the DJ asked for all father-daughter or mother-son pairs to join them on the dance floor.
It was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
I loved this so much because it offered an opportunity for grandparents to share in their special dances, as well as the flower girls, ring bearers, bridesmaids, groomsmen and so many others. It was so fun and heart-warming.
The best part was watching the groom’s dad and four uncles take turns sharing a dance with his grandmother. Each one jokingly pushing the other out of the way as he cut in to dance with their mom.
Here’s a little glimpse into Chris and Alyssa’s special day at the Destin Bay House.
